1:1 for individuals

Posted on

Not every question in life needs therapy. And not everyone feels at home in coaching.

Life Story Conversations are for people who are looking for something different: a thoughtful, human space to reflect, explore, and make sense of experiences – without needing a diagnosis, a goal framework, or a promise of transformation.

These conversations offer a calm, attentive space to explore experiences, thoughts, emotions, and moments that feel meaningful, unclear, or worth lingering with.

People come with a wide range of themes – some clearly shaped, others still vague. Both are welcome.

You don’t need a “big issue” to begin

It doesn’t have to be a heavy problem or a life crisis. People bring all kinds of topics, including:

  • something they want to understand better
  • recurring thoughts, emotions or dreams (I am trained in meaning-centered dream analysis)
  • decisions that feel unsettled
  • moments they want to reflect on with curiosity
  • experiences they simply wish to share
  • small or playful insights, or light moments worth exploring

Sometimes the topic carries depth, sometimes it is simply something that wants space and attention.

Conversations shaped by listening and reflection

Life Story Conversations are guided by careful listening, thoughtful questions, and reflective feedback.

I follow what you bring, help you stay with what matters, and reflect back what I hear – often revealing connections and insights that are hard to see from inside your own experience.

There is no pressure to explain yourself perfectly, arrive at conclusions, or move in a particular direction. The conversation unfolds at a pace that allows understanding and clarity to emerge naturally.

Optional creative invitations

When it feels supportive, I may suggest creative ways of exploring a theme – such as therapeutic or creative writing prompts, working with collages, photography, or mindfullness-based art-making.

These invitations are optional. They are gentle ways of approaching an experience from a different angle, helping to notice patterns or insights that don’t always come through talking alone.

Open to all topics, grounded in experience

I am trained as an art therapist and narrative specialist, with professional experience in psychiatric and psychosomatic settings. While I bring evidence-based tools and creative methods, I do not specialise in predefined life topics.

This openness is intentional. Your life sets the content. My role is to support the exploration with structure, care, and presence.

What people often reflect after sessions

Feedback from participants shows that Life Story Conversations often feel:

  • calm and unhurried
  • honest and non-judgemental
  • clarifying and perspective-giving
  • thoughtful, reflective, and supportive
  • fun and surprisingly lighthearted

Many people notice that insights continue to unfold even after the conversation ends.

Beginning with a compass session

Life Story Conversations usually develop over several sessions, allowing themes to deepen and connections to become clearer.

The first step is a Compass Session – a live, 1:1 video conversation where you can explore what brings you here, understand my way of working, and see whether this reflective format feels supportive for you.

For some, this initial conversation already brings clarity and orientation. For others, it becomes the starting point for a longer reflective process.

You’re welcome to explore your story and start this reflective journey in a Compass Session.
